Closer roderick gordon5/23/2023 ![]() Those were some very interesting and exciting years which included a rail trip across Canada with other university students from across Canada - the experience of a lifetime! After Antigonish it was on to Halifax and the next stage in his lifelong learning adventure: Medical School at Dalhousie University. and, as many who went before him, and who have gone since, he developed an allegiance to ”X’ which lasted the balance of his life. In 1959 George left Liverpool to pursue post secondary education at St. ![]() He played clarinet and saxophone in various bands for school and community events, enjoyed other social events and all that was out there! Many of the stories from those years are still told! Growing up, there were fun times at Broad River, in town or elsewhere. ![]() He excelled at school academically, socially and in athletics. Known to many as “little Georgie” he grew up surrounded by extended family and friends and was fondly remembered, for his singing at church, the Liverpool Playhouse, on the radio and later Glee club. George began the interesting journey of his life in Liverpool, NS on Octoas the son of Albert and Margaret (nee Dominic) Sapp. He was Claudette’s husband for 58 years and the proud father of Michelle (Iain McLeod) and Stephen (Vanessa Strike), and Giddie of Danielle (deceased), Bryn and Emma McLeod and Anikah and Mikah Strike-Sapp. ![]() Sadly, we share that the center of our family, George Albert Sapp of Chester, Nova Scotia, took his last breath on Apin his 82nd year. ![]()
